<P>At Walnut Grove, there are two counters who count the money record the amount in cash and checks from offering on a collection sheet. The fiancial secretary takes the money, recounts, records it , and then takes money to bank drop on Sunday morning. The Treasurer then receives a report that shows the disperement to the various accounts and the total of the deposit. I hope this helps. </P>

We currently deposit the money off-site but our chair seems to think this raises more of a security risk by moving the money in and out rather than holding on to the money until the next day. Would anyone like to volunteer their thoughts, not necessarily your church procedures, on what works and what doesn’t?
