We count our money the same day.  We have several members count the money 
and then the finance secretary take the money home and deposits it the 
next day.

[LCFinance] Sunday Collections






Our finance committee is in the process of reviewing the church procedure 
for safe-guarding Sunday offering until our ‘counters’ come in on Monday. 
We currently deposit the money off-site but our chair seems to think this 
raises more of a security risk by moving the money in and out rather than 
holding on to the money until the next day. Would anyone like to volunteer 
their thoughts, not necessarily your church procedures, on what works and 
what doesn’t? Thanks for help!
